Position:
Power System Engineer
About the Role:
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Obtain drawings, submittals, and other data to perform the power systems studies
Review drawings, submittals, studies, and other data
Enter equipment and distribution system data
Enter equipment AIC ratings
Enter circuit breaker data and settings
Enter Relay data and settings
Perform short circuit and arc flash calculations using SKM
Create Time Current Curves demonstrating device coordination
Create Impedance Drawings in SKM
Write reports listing the study results and list of recommendations
Make site visits to obtain data for studies

Skills and Education:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Power Systems and Power System Protection is a plus
Minimum Computer skills including but not limited to: Basic Microsoft, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Pro Programs, Email
