At PowerStudies, Inc., we use several types of power system analysis software programs. We have standardized the usage of PowerTools for Windows (Captor and Dapper). PowerTools for Windows (PTW) is created and sold by SKM Systems Analysis, Inc.

We have found that this program is easy to use, very stable, and meets our high quality standards. We have also found that SKM has a knowledgeable and friendly customer service department that quickly responds to our questions and comments.

We also use ETAP at the request of some of our clients. These programs are tools to assist the engineer in analyzing a power distribution system. We are capable of performing Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, Load Flow, Harmonics and Arc Flash analysis and studies with this program.

We use EasyPower's Suite #2 package in our power system analysis when requested. It is a more simplified program we can use for power system studies covering the basic fundamentals necessary that allow us to be compliant with the current codes and standards when performing these services.
