Diamond Fruit Growers is headquartered in the Hood River Valley in Oregon and maintains multiple facilities in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1913, Diamond Fruit Growers has been organized as a farmer owned cooperative, allowing the grower members to participate in the governance and strategic direction of the company. The company is situated in a valley that is surrounded by the Cascade volcanoes, which provide the ideal soil and weather conditions necessary to grow the pears, cherries, and apples that Diamond Fruit is known for.

Five separate utility services are required to keep this plant running. The largest is a 2500KVA transformer feeding four main switchboards and dozens of MCCs. As expected, numerous fans and cooling equipment are located throughout the facility to preserve the fruits.
