Richland Public Library
Richland’s existing library building was over 30 years old when a group of Richland’s citizens banded together to campaign for a renovation and expansion of the library. One of the additions was to be a “Richland History Room” to house the growing collection of Richland antiquities. The renovated library debuted its new look in July of 2009.
The renovation included installing a new GE main distribution switchboard with a 1600A Gould-Shawmut main fuse and GE thermal magnetic type branch breakers. Since there were new elevator loads as part of the renovation, PowerStudies, Inc. evaluated elevator selective coordination. Also installed was a new back up emergency generator.
