PowerStudies Announces Tam Tran as CEO

           At the beginning of 2024, Tam Tran celebrated his 15-year anniversary with PowerStudies. He began working for PowerStudies in 2008 as an Engineering Student Intern. After receiving his bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, PowerStudies hired him as an Electrical Engineer.  While working as an electrical engineer, Tam earned his E.I.T certification and Professional Engineer license. In 2015, Tam was promoted to Principal Electrical Engineer and became a Partner. While carrying out his duties as Partner and Principal Electrical Engineer, Tam completed his master’s degree in business & finance from Arizona State University. Tam is now pursuing a degree in psychology in his spare time. When asked how he is able to accomplish so much, he contributes his success to “hard work, self-discipline, and a lot of luck.”

           Throughout Tam’s professional and educational career, he has always volunteered his time. Tam has hundreds of volunteering hours with several organizations such as Seattle Humane, Washington Trails Association, and Bloodworks Northwest. Tam has also participated in fundraising events combining his love for running and biking with philanthropy.

           In May, Tam was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Tam will oversee all operational aspects of PowerStudies and foster a company culture that promotes growth and excellence. Tam will also lead in developing strategies that align operations with company goals. In addition to stepping into his new role, Tam will also continue providing engineering support to PowerStudies’ industrial, commercial and governmental clients.
