Delta Water Treatment Plant
The Delta Water Supply Treatment Plant prepares 30 million gallons of drinking water, per day, for the citizens of Stockton and the surrounding metro area. The plant was awarded LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building council for its sustainable energy, water, lighting, and material use.
The project consisted of a water treatment plant, intake and pump station facility. PowerStudies, Inc performed a Protective Device Coordination, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Studies. The scope of work involved normal and emergency equipment providing power to main switchgear which then fed several switchboards, MCC’s and large motors. Devices used in this power system included GE Multilin , PG&E GEC relays and Cutler-Hammer Thermal Magnetic and adjustable Solid State Trip breakers with Long Time, Short Time and Instantaneous functions.
