Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is one of the most iconic buildings in the world. Soaring more than a quarter of a mile above Manhattan, the Empire State Building has 103 floors, weighs 365,000 tons, and contains 473 miles of electrical wiring. Opened to the public in 1931, approximately four million people visit it's observatories every year.
The scope included a 5000A main service switchboard servicing a 5000A busway going up to 9 floors. Due to the high fault current, fuses were used for protection to the equipment, such as chillers.
