Wells Fargo Center
Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, Wells Fargo Center, originally named First Interstate Center, was completed in 1983. It has 47 stories, 24 elevators, and is the ninth tallest building in the city of Seattle. The building is primarily used for commercial offices and has 941,000 square feet of rentable office space.
This high rise building has an electrical network that includes two service utility transformers. A collection of bus ducts run throughout the building to supply over 800 pieces of electrical equipment. The bus ducts range between 800A to 4000A for a total of 11 bus ducts. A 1000KW generator is also on site to provide emergency power to the emergency equipment in case the utility services are offline.
